2018: Bringing Tufts to Learners of All Paths
University College was founded in 2018 to expand Tufts’ educational reach to new populations at every stage of life, unlock the potential of university-wide collaborations, and raise funds for the institution at large. In order to fit the needs of a wide range of students, University College offers in-person, online, and hybrid courses, and has programs for high school students, visiting students, working professionals, and retirees, as well as a blog– The Workforce Wire– that shares information about practical, career-focused skills. Some of The Workforce Wire’s recent articles shared information about the broad applications of leadership skills and how civic studies can be an asset to individuals and communities.
