1933: A Commitment to International Affairs

Fletcher Students in Library, 1947

The Fletcher School was founded in 1933 to advance the study of international affairs. The school offers ten master’s programs, including degrees such as Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Global Business Administration, and Master in Global Affairs. Fletcher applies a forward-looking, interdisciplinary approach across programs, and boasts a small class size and ratio of one full-time faculty member for every nine students. This collaborative and diverse environment enriches students’ experiences inside and outside the classroom so that they are well equipped to tackle the study and practice of global affairs.
