Jill Billups Beltran

Jill Billups Beltran J79 remained involved in her New York community after her graduation, 1979.

Jill Billups Beltran J79 was born on December 16, 1957 in Bronxville, NY. She matriculated to Tufts from Woodland High School in Greenburg, New York. She graduated in 1979 from the College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor of Arts.

After graduation, Billups Beltran earned her master’s degree from New York University. She worked as the Executive Director of the Port Chester Carver Center. Additionally, Beltran was active in her church, the Shiloh Baptist Church of Tuckahoe, NY. There, she served as the director of the Children’s Choir. She was married to Edwin Beltran in 1983 and had one son, Kyle Beltran. She died on April 17, 2004, due to complications from Lupus.
