About This Exhibit

This web exhibit is a digital version of an exhibit mounted the Tufts Archival Research Center in December 2024. The exhibit remained on view in the Tisch Library until August 2025. It was curated by John Hannigan, Archivist and Project Manager for the Slavery, Colonialism, & Their Legacies project, Alexandra Bush, Public Services and Instruction Archivist, and Dan Santamaria, Director and University Archivist. The exhibit was adapted to its online version by John Hannigan in 2025.

The exhibit was designed by Jennifer Liston Munson.
