New England Almanacs

About this exhibit

This exhibit includes almanacs digitized from Tisch's collection that were published in New England prior to 1923 (and thus were out of copyright at the time of digitization). A small number of almanacs in the collection meet this criteria but were not digitized due to their fragile condition.

Tisch Special Collections is home to a large pamphlet collection, comprised of over 7,000 pamphlets from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. In addition to almanacs, topics in the collection range from anti-slavery to temperance to music and opera to the railroad.

Visit all of our digitized almanacs, plus other books and manuscripts digitized from Tisch's collections, in the Tufts Digital Library. Most of the pamphlet collection remains undigitized - please get in touch with us for more information or with any questions.
